But Hut 297 is located on a prime peninsula where prices have soared.
The Mudeford Sandbank property has been owned by the same family since the 1980s.
They bought it from the council for four figures.
By 2002 the cabins were selling for £70,000, then £270,000 in 2014 and £350,000 two years ago.
A five-bed house in Middlesbrough is £400,000.
The seaside cabin sleeps eight, has a 100-litre water tank and cooker connected to a gas bottle.
The 360 hut owners share communal loos and showers.
Cars are banned on Mudeford, which can be reached via a land train or ferry.
