‘Run, Hide, Fight’ alert sent by school police with nearby auditorium locked down and reports of suspect fleeing on foot

Michigan State University police said on Monday they were responding to reports of shots fired near a building on the school’s East Lansing campus.

An alert was sent shortly after 8.30pm by the university’s police department that read: “MSU Police report shots fired incident occurring on or near the East Lansing campus. Secure-in-Place immediately. Run, Hide, Fight.
