This includes the new Pokémon being added this week, and you can pick it up completely free.

Hisuian Samurott is being added to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and will be available for the first time outside of Pokémon Legends Arceus.

It will be available for all Generation 9 Pokémon players but only for a limited time. Hisuian Samurott will appear in rare seven-star raids during two weekends.

The first weekend it is available is Friday, November 24, 2023, until Sunday, November 26, 2023, and is available again from Friday, December 1, 2023, until Sunday, December 3, 2023.

More in Pokémon

If you want to grab your own, you will need to have completed the mainline story, including the finale at Area Zero, and the post-game school tournament.

After completing a number of five-star raids, your teacher Jacq will call you and let you know that six- and seven-star raids have now been unlocked.

When you face Hisuian Samurott in seven-star raids, you will have to defeat it before you can capture it.

It will have around 25x its normal HP stat, meaning it is very difficult to take down.

Luckily, you can team up with up to three friends online, or with three NPCs who can help you out in battle.

Even with the help of your friends, you will still need to have trained a strong monster yourself, in order to help out the team.

Once you manage to take Samurott down, you’ll be able to catch it and keep it forever.
