Pokémon has just added one of the strongest ‘mons ever – here’s how you can catch one

This is the first time that it has appeared in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and people are eager to get their hands on it.

Hisuian Samurott is appearing for the first time in the latest Pokémon game, but it can be difficult to take down.

Here’s everything you need to know about the latest seven-star raid.

When is the Hisuian Samurott raid?

The Hisuan Samurott seven-star raid will take place over two weekends, and it will appear every day of that weekend.

Here’s when you can pick up your Samurott.

• Friday, November 24, 2023, until Sunday, November 26, 2023.
• Friday, December 1, 2023, until Sunday, December 3, 2023.

What is the Hisuian Samurott’s moveset?

Here is what you can expect from the Hisuian Samurott.

Hisuian Samurott the Unrivaled – Level 100

• Nature – Adamant
• Ability – Sharpness
• Item – None
• Tera type – Water
• Moveset – Ceaseless Edge, X-Scissor, Razor Shell, Sacred Sword, Focus Energy, Swords Dance, Bulldoze

The ability Sharpness boosts Samurott’s move power making some of them very difficult to deal with.

This is particularly true as it starts the battle with an attack-boosting Swords Dance. 

Bulldoze is only used at the start of battle to drop your speed, and after that, it will use its other attacks. 

You’ll want something with a lot of defense in order to take Samurott down, and Electric- or Grass-type attacks also help.

What Pokémon should I use for the Hisuian Samurott raid?

We think that the best Pokémon for this raid is Miraidon thanks to its excellent special attack.

Here’s what we recommend:

Miraidon – Level 100

• Nature – Bold
• Ability – Hadron Engine
• Item – Big Root
• Tera type – Electric
• Moveset – Calm Mind, Parabolic Charge, Electro Drift, Charge

Parabolic Charge allows Miraidon to heal up from the initial Bulldoze, and after that it shouldn’t take too much damage thanks to its great typing and defense stat.

Electro Drift deals a lot of damage and is boosted by its ability Hadron Engine, and Charge will double the power if used before.

If paired with a Pokémon that can lower special defense with Acid Spray, Miraidon is especially strong.
