AS Pokémon Go prepares for its global tour, this week is a little quieter than usual.

The biggest win of the week is Regirock appearing in five-star raids to round out your set.

The Valentine’s Day event is ending, so catch these loved up Pokémon while you can.

Here’s everything that’s happening in Pokémon Go from February 13 to February 19.

Jigglypuff takes the spotlight

This week’s Spotlight Hour will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 6pm local time.

Jigglypuff will appear more commonly during Spotlight Hour, so this is a great chance to evolve it into Wigglytuff.

As a Normal-/Fairy-type, Wigglytuff can work as a defensive piece in Go Battle League teams.

You’ll also earn double XP for any Pokémon you evolve during this hour, even if it’s not the pink blob.

Primal Rumblings event starts

Raid Hour will take place on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 10am local time, and will end on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 10pm local time.

The Primal Rumblings event will focus on Pokémon from the Hoenn region.

This means ‘mons like Treeko, Torchic, Mudkip, Numel, and Wurmple appearing more commonly in the wild.

The starters and their middle evolutions will also appear in raids alongside the king of Gen 3, Rayquaza.

Rayquaza and its shiny form will be the five-star raid boss, with the special charged move Breaking Swipe.

Mega raids will also be taken over by Hoenn legends, as Mega-Latios, and Mega-Latias join the gyms.

The Go Battle League goes to Hoenn

The Go Battle League will change on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 9pm GMT UK time.

The Master League will change into its Mega form, where there is no CP limit and Mega-Pokémon are allowed.

As is the theme of the week, the Hoenn Cup will enter on Thursday.

This Cup will have a CP limit of 1.5k, and only Pokémon from the Hoenn region will be allowed to enter. This includes Pokémon from dex number 252 to 386.

This means that all of the Hoenn legendaries will be able to participate.

Travel to Hoenn on the global tour

Hoenn’s global tour will take place on Saturday, February 25, and Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 10am to 6pm local time.

Following on from Primal Rumblings, the Hoenn tour is going global.

There will be a new special research task based on Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon, as Primal Forms are introduced.

The mythical Pokémon Jirachi will also make its shiny debut as part of the event.
