POKÉMON Go’s Season of Light is coming to an end, and a number of in-game events are being added to celebrate.
For all the information on what’s being added to Pokémon Go between November 7 and November 13, 2022, check out our guide.
Croagunk takes the spotlight
Spotlight Hour takes place this week on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 6pm local time.
The star this week is Croagunk, who appears commonly in the game anyway, but will be more frequent this hour.
However, if you are looking for a shiny, there will be increased odds for all to catch.
A shiny will also be able to evolve into the shiny form of Toxicroak, which can be a useful Pokémon in the Battle League.
Every Pokémon caught will also give players double XP, which can be quite the boon.
New event Greedy Gluttons start
Greedy Gluttons will begin in Pokémon Go from Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 10am local time.
This event lasts until November 17 and celebrates legendary Ultrabeast Guzzlord entering the game.
There will be a Rocket Takeover at the end of the event, so new Shadow Pokémon will also be added at this time.

Further details will be revealed after the event starts.
Guzzlord takes over Gyms in Raid Hour
Raid Hour will take place on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 6pm local time.
Giratina will leave raids on November 8, and Guzzlord will be the new five-star raid.
The Dragon/Dark-type will stick around for two weeks, but will appear in every single Gym during Raid Hour.
Guzzlord’s shiny version will not be available during its debut, so don’t worry about catching multiples.
Ultra Leagues take over Go Battle League
The Leagues change in Go Battle League on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 8pm UK time.
Ultra League stays on for one more week, while the Willpower Cup takes its leave.
It will be replaced by the Ultra League Premier, where the CP limit is 2.5k.
The special restriction on this cup is that Legendary Pokémon, including Mythicals and Ultrabeasts, will not be allowed to participate.
Teddiursa takes centre stage on Community Day
Community Day takes place on Saturday, November 12, between 2pm and 5pm local time.
Teddiursa will appear more commonly this Saturday, and Ursaluna will be introduced as its final evolution.
Ursaluna’s evolved from the Teddiursa will know the new attack High Horsepower, and can only evolve during the Pokémon Go full moon.
The full moon will take place between 2pm on Saturday, November 12 and 6am on Sunday, November 13.
