POKÉMON announced a new collaboration, and fans were rushing to grab a piece of the merch.

Some shocking images have surfaced on social media of the release, and products are already up on eBay.

Pokémon partnered with the Van Gogh Museum to bring a number of products inspired by the Dutch painter’s art.

A huge number of items, including postcards, trading cards, and plushies, went on sale at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam a few days ago.

There are items like artwork featuring Sunflora Pokémon in ‘Sunflowers’, and Pikachu replacing the artist in ‘Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat’.

However, as soon as the museum’s gift shop was opened, people flooded into the store, grabbing handfuls of merchandise.

There was a maximum put on the amount of items people could buy, but that didn’t stop some from immediately trying to flip them on eBay.

However, fans don’t need to worry, as the museum isn’t the only place where you can purchase the items.

The Pokémon Center online store will also be selling the merchandise, though it is also likely to sell out quickly.

A take on Van Gogh’s ‘The Bedroom’ featuring Snorlax and Munchlax has been made into a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle.

Meanwhile, ‘Pikachu with a Grey Felt Hat’ is available as a statue, plushie, on a tote bag, and a trading card.

The pieces will go live on the online store ‘soon’, though there is no exact date or time as to when they will drop.

Still, for those who can’t go to Amsterdam to visit the Van Gogh Museum in person, or don’t want to risk it in the gift shop, this is a great solution.
