POKÉMON has just announced a new super-powerful beast that will be added to the game.
All Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players will have a chance to grab one, but it won’t be easy to do.

Blaziken is one of fans’ favourite Pokémon and was recently introduced into the game with the Indigo Disk DLC.
However, it is rare in the DLC, only available in one square on the map, and is unavailable for those who did not purchase the DLC.
For those who just own the base game, this will be the first time that players can grab this Pokémon.
There will be two chances to grab Blaziken, who will be available in seven-star raids.

The first weekend it is available is Friday, January 12, 2024, until Sunday, January 14, 2024.
It will be available again from Friday, January 19, 2024, until Sunday, January 21, 2024.
Blaziken is usually a Fire-/Fighting-type Pokémon but will come with the Flying Tera type.
It also comes with the ability Speed Boost, which is part of why Blaziken is so strong, as it will quickly outpace any other Pokémon.

The games took a break following the launch of The Indigo Disk DLC, but Blaziken’s raid marks the return of these limited-time battles.
There will be a new seven-star raid every two weeks, so it’s important to check back for updates.
Before the raid comes out, there will be an additional free content drop for those who own the DLC.
The Indigo Disk is getting an epilogue which will be released on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
It promises to add at least one hour of new story to the game, as well as a new never before released mythical.
This weekend will also feature an online tournament only featuring Pokémon introduced in The Indigo Disk DLC.
