PS VR2 released on Wednesday, and already early adopters are having issues with the hardware.
PlayStation’s newest VR add-on is its most expensive hardware yet, costing £530 ($550) for the headset and two controllers.
The company’s first VR set was released in 2016, and console players have been long awaiting an update.
To add to the price of the hardware, PS VR2 players also require a PS5 in order to play.
With this luxury tech, players expect a high level of quality from their purchases.
However, people have already taken to social media to complain about a common fault with the PS VR2’s controller.
According to a report by Eurogamer, a number of PS VR2 players have complained that the buttons on the right Sense controller don’t respond to their inputs.
The controllers aren’t necessary for all PS VR2 games, but were a major selling point for PlayStation’s latest hardware.
On the PSVR Reddit, those who have been trying to play with the new tech have been sharing tips on how to fix this common issue.
The most common suggestion is to close your software, and relaunch it with ‘See Through Mode’ disabled.

Other suggestions include resetting the controllers or turning the trigger feedback on and off.
People have also tried disconnecting their DualSense controller from the system, or deleting and resyncing the controllers.
Some say they have found success by repeatedly mashing the buttons until they work.
Despite all these tricks, some players are still complaining that they can’t get their controllers to work.
Sony has said that it is aware of the issue, but hasn’t provided advice for players at the time of writing.
