PLAYSTATION Studios is about to launch its first-ever game on the Xbox, insiders have claimed.
Leaked box art for an Xbox version of Sony’s MLB: The Show 21 has turned up online.
MLB: The Show is a longstanding baseball game series that debuted in 2006.
The game is typically a PlayStation exclusive, but leaker Anerdydad has posted images of an Xbox One cover for the game.
On the front of the box is a PlayStation Studios stamp.
It’s entirely possible that it’s a mocked-up fake, but Sony has previously hinted that such a crossover would soon occur.
The PlayStation Studios brand was actually only unveiled last summer.
But it’s part of the long-running Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios – which dates back to 2005.
It’s made up of more than a dozen wholly-owned game studios.
And these studios have historically produced PlayStation-exclusive games under the SIE brand.

Last year, Sony confirmed that it would branch out to “additional console platforms” for the first time ever.
And Major League Baseball confirmed that this would happen “as early as 2021”.
We’re expecting MLB The Show 21 to release at some point between now and the end of March.
We’ve asked PlayStation for comment and will update this story with any response.
In other news, The Sun’s favourite alternative to a games console is the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset.
Grab a VR headset and you’ll be able to play the legendary Beat Saber – like Guitar Hero, but with lightsabers.
And Dell’s Alienware R10 Ryzen Edition is a gaming PC powerhouse that crushes both the new consoles.
