THREE more three games are coming to PlayStation, but players have been left disappointed.

Every month, new games are added to the service, but almost a year after launch fans have not been impressed.

June’s free games include NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi.

NBA 2K23 is a decent basketball simulator, but is on sale in a number of places for up to 90% off.

Similarly, Jurassic World Evolution 2, a decent management sim: think RollerCoaster Tycoon with dinosaurs.

Finally, Trek to Yomi is an action adventure game from last year that received mixed reviews.

While some are pleased with the selection, many others compared it to Xbox’s Game Pass.

In the first half of June Xbox Game Pass will gain eight additions including three new releases.

Amnesia: The Bunker has been long-awaited and people are excited for its release.

While they are slightly older titles, Rune Factory 4 and Stacking are popular with fans.

PS Plus rebooted the service a year ago now in the hopes of competing with how popular Game Pass is.

Initially it seems the reboot was successful with many excited to play PlayStation’s classic library again.

However, the new games added every month are not only fewer than those on Game Pass but often worse quality.

One Twitter user wrote: “I don’t even need PS Plus this June. It’s so bad!”

Others have complained about the consistent low quality, and the low number of games.

Another user wrote: “Absolutely braindead move giving us NBA again. Good grief.”

One person noted: “Sony thought ‘No point in trying with Plus games this month when Street Fighter 6, Diablo 4 and Final Fantasy 16 are releasing.”

Unlike Xbox, PlayStation refuses to put its first-party games on its subscription service until at least a year after launch.

PlayStation has not released recent figures for its PS Plus service, but fans seem increasingly unhappy with the sibscription.
