PLAYSTATION has announced three amazing games that will no longer be free to play.
All of the games come from one of gaming’s most popular series, including the best game in the series.
The Yakuza series is long-running, starting out all the way back in 2005.
There have been eight mainline games so far, and a huge number of spin-off games based around the formula.
Based in Japan, the stories take place all across Japan and feature different characters from Japan’s infamous Yakuza crime ring.
Three games from the series are being removed from PS Plus, PlayStation’s subscription service, which rivals Xbox Game Pass.
Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are all leaving the service on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Yakuza Kiwami, and Kiwami 2, are remakes of the first two games, originally released on PlayStation 2.
Remade from the ground up for modern consoles, the Kiwami games brought all the new features into the original titles.
Yakuza 0 is a prequel to the mainline series, and is also considered one of the best games Yakuza has to offer.

It follows the background of the main characters before they signed up for the infamous crime syndicate.
There is still a little bit of time left for everyone to play these games, but they are quite big.
Players would have to dedicate a lot of time if they wanted to complete them before time runs out.
What has fans curious is that the Yakuza series was originally a PlayStation console exclusive series.
However, recent releases have expanded out and are also available on Xbox and PC.
With the upcoming change, all of the games from the series will be available on Xbox Game Pass but not on PlayStation Plus.
