PLAYSTATION gives players free games every month, and this April, we have two recent releases to play.

Of the three free games that are coming to PlayStation players this month two were released just last year.

All three games will be available starting on April 2 and will be free for anyone who is subscribed to PS Plus.

This includes the cheapest tier of the service, PS Plus Essential, and you can play them as long as you have an active PS Plus membership.

The first game being given away in April is Immortals of Aveum, an FPS from last year where you use magic instead of guns.

There are more than 25 spells you can learn, including a mix of both offensive and defensive spells.

More in PlayStation

Developed by a number of Dead Space and Call of Duty developers, you can play the whole game in single-player.

Immortals of Aveum is only playable on PS5, while the other games on the list are playable on both PS4 and PS5.

Next up is Minecraft: Legends, a tower defence game based on one of the most popular games of all time.

In this real-time strategy game, you will create a base, defend it from outside forces, and also raid other camps for materials.

The final game up for grabs in April is Skul: The Hero Slayer, a roguelike action platformer.

Originally released in 2021, it has an 80 rating on review aggregate site Metacritic.

All three games will be available throughout April, and if you claim them you can keep them for the length of your subscription.
