THIS year has been full of amazing games, but a handful stood out as the best of the best.

While we might not have been able to buy them all on release, the holiday sales have made many of them more affordable.

We’ve been scouring the internet looking for the best deals on 2023’s best games, and we’ve found a great one.

The Resident Evil 4 remake was one of the best games released this year, and was nominated for multiple Game of the Year awards.

The original Resident Evil 4 first launched on the GameCube in 2005, and was considered an instant classic.

While the first game was received, the remake is supposed to have improved on all aspects of the original.

More in PlayStation

Aside from the obvious improvements, such as smoother gameplay and updated graphics, there are a lot of other tweaks and additions.

The remake features new enemies hiding in old locations, more secrets to discover, and yet it retains the usual goofy humour of the original.

The blurb reads: “Survival is just the beginning.

“Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City.

Most read in Gaming

“Agent Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors of the incident, has been sent to rescue the president’s kidnapped daughter.

“He tracks her to a secluded European village, where there is something terribly wrong with the locals.

“And the curtain rises on this story of daring rescue and grueling horror where life and death, terror and catharsis intersect.”

You can currently grab the Resident Evil 4 remake on the PlayStation Store for the lowest price ever.

At a whopping 57% off, you can snatch the 2023 release for just £23.64.
