EVERY now and then a rare bit of gaming history will pop up on the marketplace leaving people in awe.

Famously, a prototype for the Nintendo PlayStation, a console that would link the two gaming giants, sold for almost $400k (£300k) at auction.

The only known console of its kind, Greg McLemore bid against other tech giants, like Oculus founder Palmer Lucky, to get his hands on this part of gaming history.

A more recent sale has just appeared, but the problem with purchasing it lies more with the size than the price.

As discovered by Redditor ArguingMaster, someone is selling a PlayStation Experience Truck from 2006.

The truck was driven all over the US to promote the PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation fans could climb aboard and try out various upcoming PSP games.

This isn’t just a normal truck, it’s more like the size of a modest trailer park home and the majority of people would struggle to find somewhere to store it.

However, it does come with a number of neat features. While the PSPs are no longer attached, all the monitors are still inside.

In fact, it looks almost exactly like it did in 2006 with gaming posters inside and PSP decals on the outside.

The truck has certainly seen better days and there is damage to the floor, walls, and ceiling.

It’s being sold where all the oddest items seem to be sold these days, Facebook Marketplace.

The seller wants $70k (£55k) for it, which given the work that needs to be done, the Reddit commenters seem to think is too steep.

Many suggest the value is closer to $40k (£33k) and that a further $40k will likely be needed for repairs.

It’s definitely a big investment but I’m sure it’s worth it for the right buyer.
