PLAYSTATION has snagged a perk for players that is not all about its games.

Movie buffs that own a PlayStation are excited to get to see an exclusive first look at a big upcoming film.

Based on a PlayStation-owned franchise, the Gran Turismo movie is being offered to PlayStation owners first.

PS Plus subscribers are eligible to watch the film before anyone else, but there is a catch to the early screening.

Only certain cinemas are holding the preview event, so you might have to travel in order to see the film.

If you are a PS Plus member, then you should receive an invitation to the advanced screening shortly.

Make sure you check your emails and spam for this, and that your PSN account is linked to a frequently used email.

The email will contain a link to reserve tickets online for a screening on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

This is a full day before the film releases to the general public in cinemas.

Certain Vue and Cineworld cinemas are taking part, and you will see through the link the closest participating cinema.

There are cinemas available in a number of major cities, so hopefully you won’t have to travel too far to find one.

Unfortunately, this isn’t like many of PlayStation’s other perks, and you won’t be getting the tickets for free.

While you still have to buy your seat, it will likely be easier to grab than after the film is officially released.

Recent showings for both Barbie and Oppenheimer have been fully booked out as Barbenheimer mania sweeps movie-goers.

We don’t think the Gran Turismo movie will get the same reception, but it’s always nice to be a part of an exclusive event.
