WHILE 2024 has delivered a number of excellent games, there are many that have disappointed players.

If you pay £10 / $10 for a subpar game, you may just accept your loss, but many are fighting back after spending £70 / $70 or even more.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Skull & Bones seem to be the biggest offenders, with people paying huge amounts for early access.

In particular, Suicide Squad has drawn anger from fans, due to numerous bugs that are affecting peoples’ play.

However, most companies refuse to refund a game if a person has played for a large number of hours.

One Reddit user has claimed that they received a refund from PlayStation for Suicide Squad, despite having played the game for almost 40 hours.

The person writes that they contacted customer service through the web chat to report issues they had with the game.

After a series of conversations, it was decided that the issues could not be resolved by the user, and so a refund was given.

Others have tried to receive a refund but have not been granted one, and Redditors seem to have theories as to why this user is the exception.

The user points out that they purchased the game using PlayStation Store funds, meaning that the money was refunded to their wallet.

This means that they will still have to spend the refunded money on PlayStation games, so the company doesn’t lose out.

Other users in the thread believe it is related to the person’s status in the PlayStation Stars loyalty programme.

Once a player reaches the highest rank in PlayStation Stars, Level 4, they gain access to better customer service.

High-level PlayStation Stars users buy and play a large number of PlayStation games, giving them preferential treatment.

A refund might not be available for all users, but if you purchased via store funds and have Level 4 in PlayStation Stars, it’s worth trying.
