The highest tier of the PS Plus service, PS Plus Premium, will get an extra feature in October.

PS Plus Premium users will soon be able not only to play the PS5 games in the PS Plus library, but also to stream them.

Cloud gaming has a number of benefits and drawbacks, but as an added bonus with no extra cost, this decision is a win for fans.

Streaming will allow PlayStation 5 owners to play games from the PS Plus library without the need to download them to their console.

PS Plus Premium subscribers will also be able to stream select PS5 games they own digitally, as well as free trials on PS5 titles.

As the PS5 has a limited storage capacity, this option allows more players to start playing their games more quickly as they don’t have to download or install them.

The PS5 has about 825GB of usable storage space and many modern games are in excess of 150GB in size.

This means that players can only install a limited number of big triple-A games they can have on their console at a time.

Cloud gaming will allow them to pick up and play a huge variety of PS5 games as soon as they decide to play them.

The downside is that it requires a strong and stable internet connection in order to play, and many users don’t have this.

However for those with a good connection it will help level up their gameplay.

Here are the release times for PS5 cloud gaming on PS Plus Premium depending on your region.
