PLAYSTATION recently announced that the most popular game in the world is launching on the PS4.
It’s also available on PS5 via backwards compatibility, so you can play whichever PlayStation you own.

Releasing today (October 10), people can download and play, and it’s free.
It’s unclear the exact time that it will launch, but it is believed that the store will refresh around 6pm UK time.
Once it is live, all you need to do is go to the store page via the PlayStation Store on your console and download it.
Roblox is a metaverse, where people can create mini-games and share them with others to play.

The open nature of the platform means that it has become popular with children, as there are thousands of games to play.
However, parents should use caution when allowing their children to play Roblox.
Due to the unregulated nature of the platform, some questionable content can be found on there, such as toilet simulators, or games with a lot of violence.
It has a 13+ age recommendation, but statistics show that 56% of the user base is below this age.

There is also a 17+ rated section in Roblox that requires age verification, but this can be easily bypassed with an older person’s ID.
While not affiliated with Roblox, there are also a number of gambling websites that encourage Roblox users to gamble their in-game items.
The company has also announced that it plans to add a dating app to Roblox within the next five years.
This is particularly concerning, given the average age of Roblox users.
If you allow your children to use Roblox, make sure that they do not have an age verified account, as this will allow strangers to message them using the platform.
A number of parents have reported their children receiving grooming messages via Roblox, so it’s very important to keep a close eye on your children’s online activity.
