The chances of getting your hands on a PS5 in time for Christmas are on the rise.

We’ve seen retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, GAME, and Argos getting waves of PS5 restocks over the past few weeks.

More inventory is expected in the UK as Sony airfreighted its consoles to expedite the process.

To make sure you don’t miss out, we recommend signing up for retailers’ email alerts to be amongst the first to know when the PS5 is in stock.

Following stock tracking accounts on social media and turning on notifications is also a great way to be among the first to be notified.

Of course, you can also bookmark this page which we’ll keep updated with rumoured and confirmed PS5 stock drops.

Where to buy PS5 in the UK

There have been quite a few PS5 restocks at UK retailers over the past couple of weeks.

Very has a PS5 restock live right now with a buy now pay later option available.

You’ll be directed to a queue so be patient and you should be in with a chance to nab one.

It’s not just retailers like GAME and Argos you should keep your eye on either. Internet service providers and mobile phone operators like BT and EE are getting in on the action too.

The added bonus of buying via EE is that you don’t have to pay the whole price of the console upfront and can split the cost into monthly payments.

EE offers the PS5 from £45 per month for 11 months, with £10 upfront – interest free. So keep an eye on its socials if that sounds appealing.

Looking ahead, Argos has been tipped for a PS5 restock this week, between November 9 and November 12.

Currently, it looks like this may be for the standard disc edition only, but that’s yet to be confirmed.

GAME has a PS5 restock last week to coincide with the Call of Duty: Vanguard release.

It’s thought that the retailer will have another in a couple of weeks.

Here’s the lay of the land now:

Where to buy PS5 in the US

We’ve seen a slew of restocks at US retailers too, with some even letting customers purchase in-store.

PlayStation Direct is reportedly having an invite only PS5 restock today between 11am PT / 2pm ET and 4pm PT / 7pm ET.

Make sure you’ve registered for the chance to get an invite.

GameStop might have a PS5 restock this week according to @PS5restocks_etc based on promo emails that are reportedly being sent out.

Target is also a likely candidate but that’s not confirmed just yet.

Some places are even offering early access to their PS5 stock drops as part of a paid service.

Walmart+ is giving early access to its Black Friday deals, while GameStop’s PowerUp Rewards Pro specifically gives you first dibs on new consoles.

Meanwhile, Best Buy’s pricey Totaltech gives ‘exclusive access’ to ‘hard-to-find tech products’. But beware of using it to get a PS5 and trying to cancel and refund the membership.

If you’d rather not pay for the opportunity to simply buy a console, you’ll need to be quick off the mark when the PS5 restocks drop at these retailers:

Last stock check: November 9, 2021.

In other news, The Sun’s favourite alternative to a games console is the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset.

Grab a VR headset and you’ll be able to play the legendary Beat Saber – like Guitar Hero, but with lightsabers.

And Dell’s Alienware R10 Ryzen Edition is a gaming PC powerhouse that crushes both the new consoles.
