Phil Collins, the English drummer, used to get cortisone injections to ease his vocal tension. But apart from the purpose it fulfilled, it brought him some devastating side effects, one being making his bones brittle.
The first sign of the side effect exposed itself in 1986 when he broke his foot on tour in Australia.
It was only the beginning, and in 2007 after an MRI, he found that the vertebrae in his neck were crumbling. It was nothing else than the result of the way he sits at the kit and more because of the cortisone doses.
However, the singer-songwriter underwent surgery to deal with it.
Since then, the adverse effects have not stopped showing their worst faces, making the singer seem very fragile, with no strength at all.
His condition is a matter of concern for his fans worldwide. And they want to know where the drummer is.
