Watches of Switzerland is gearing up for a bumper Christmas as women set their sights on Cartiers as men go for Omegas.
Chief executive Brian Duffy said sales were strong ahead of the festive season with ‘fabulous’ Cartier watches (such as the one worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, pictured) top of the list for women.
He also said the Omega Seamaster James Bond wore in No Time To Die was flying off the shelves.

Duffy said: ‘This year Bond’s watch was the most successful of all time.’
The retailer, which has 163 stores, was reporting bumper results for the six months to October 31.
Sales jumped 44.6 per cent to £586.2million, up from £414.3million a year earlier.
Profit across the group rose from £36.2million a year ago to £ 64.7million, a 79p per cent increase.
Duffy was ‘delighted’ and the company had ‘strong momentum’ ahead of Christmas.
