SHOPPERS are only just realising that Aldi has launched its King and Queen Kevin the Carrot toys, but they’ll need to be quick.

King Charles’ Coronation is set to take place on May 6.

And in celebration of the occasion, the bargain supermarket has created new versions of its famous Kevin the Carrot.

Aldi is selling Queen and King toys, but shoppers will have to be quick if they want to get their hands on them.

The toys only launched in store yesterday (April 20) but many have already said that they were unable to pick up either.

One lucky shopper, who managed to get both, posted in Facebook’s Extreme Couponing & Bargains page.

And people flocked to the comments to share their disappointment.

One commented: “Our Aldi’s not selling them.”

While another said: “If you weren’t there by 8:15 you’d be out of luck.”

But another shopper said: “Had loads in mine early afternoon.”

We’ve asked Aldi if it has plans to produce more coronation carrot toys and we’ll update the piece as soon as we know more.

At the time of writing, neither toys were available to buy online but we also asked Aldi for a date and will update the piece once we know more.

They cost £3.99 each, according to the Aldi website.

If you’re wanting to grab one, or two of the carrot toys right away, shoppers have already put them on eBay.

Bear in mind that you’ll probably have to pay more for it if you go down this route.

When we checked, some people were selling one toy for around £9 with both together going for £32.

It’s always worth heading down to your local Aldi to see if you can find them there.

Bear in mind price and stock can vary from store to store.

Aldi has been known to sell products that shoppers race to get their hands on.

Just this week, it restocked the popular energy drink Prime.

Shoppers queued from the early hours of the morning to get their hands on the latest deliveries of Logan Paul and KSI’s drink.

The drink ordinarily sells for £1.99 per bottle – yet has become so popular among youngsters that some have been touted online for four-figure sums.

The supermarket is also famous for its dupes.

It has been selling Jo Malone knock offs including candles, diffusers and perfumes.

The perfumes are usually the first to go quickly so keep an eye out for them in store and online.
