IF you’re scrambling for Christmas gift ideas there might be a saviour in sight.
With just days to go until the big day, you don’t have much time left.
Fortunately, Amazon could be of service.
And it’s all to do with the so-called “wish list” feature.
Lists have long been around so buyers can essentially favourite stuff they would like at some point.
But it’s particularly handy when looking to get a gift for someone else – if you’ve received the link to theirs of course.
So if a loved one has previously shared theirs with you and you’re all out of present ideas for Christmas, this could be a lifesaver.
If you haven’t got a link to a friend or family member’s Amazon list you can still request one – but it obviously takes away a bit of surprise, should that be what you’re going for.
How to find a friend’s Amazon wish list
To see another person’s wish list they’ll have to have shared it with you at some point previously.
You can see any friends lists you have by logging into your Amazon account and opening the main menu.

Click Your Lists, then Your Friends.
Alternatively, you can just open the link here.
How to request a friend’s Amazon wish list
If you don’t have access to a friend’s Amazon wish list you can always request it.
There’s a feature that allows you to send an email to them via Amazon.
It’s found on the same page as before.
Amazon has crafted the message for you.
All you need to do is click Email this message and it’ll redirect to your email provider.
Enter your recipient’s email and away you go.
How to set up an Amazon wish list
You can be helpful to others seeking gift ideas too by setting up your own Amazon wish list.
From any product page, look for Add to List – it’s a drop down menu at the bottom of the price box to the right.
Now others can see what you want for Christmas and birthdays.
