XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a turn-based tactics game that launched in 2012 and reinvigorated a then-stagnant genre.

If you enjoy tactical games like Invisible Inc, the Mario + Rabbids series, Phoenix Point, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, or Persona 5 Tactica, XCOM is a must-play.

In XCOM: Enemy Unknown, you command an elite military squad in a series of turn-based missions that require tactical decision-making.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is sitting at a respectable 89 rating for its PC version on review aggregator Metacritic.

Enemy Unknown’s sequel, XCOM 2, is also on sale right now, and you can get it for £1.74 / $2.99, instead of £34.99 / $59.99.
