Spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on one item is hard to stomach. But when it comes to mattresses, you’ll want to invest in quality because sleep is important for your health. We’ve tested a number of mattresses to find options across a wide range of budgets to ensure you spend your money wisely.

The good news? Almost all of our favorites are steeply discounted for Memorial Day. Mattresses frequently go on sale, which is why you should never buy one at full price, but this weekend is the best time in the year to snag one at the best price. The prices below are for the queen-sized version for simplicity’s sake, but other sizes are also on sale.

Hybrid Vs. All-Foam Mattresses

Most mattresses available online are made of several layers of memory foam. There are a few of these all-foam options we like below, but we prefer hybrid mattresses and think you might too. Hybrids are also made of foam, but they have hundreds of individually wrapped springs sandwiched between that foam. It gets you the best of both worlds, from traditional box-spring mattresses and bed-in-a-box memory foam ones. Hybrids tend to be more supportive, and because coils help with airflow, you might sleep cooler at night.

Our Favorite Mattress Deals

This is our favorite mattress at the moment. If the high price doesn’t deter you, it really is great to relax on at night. It’s usually $200 off during major sales events; the base price has been raised by $100 since we last checked, which is disappointing. Still, this remains the best of the best, and you get two of Helix’s pillows for free.

Use code MEMORIALDAY200 for $200 off $1,750 or more; MEMORIALDAY150 if you’re spending $1,250 or more; or MEMORIALDAY100 for $100 off everything else.
