What are Only Fools and Horses stamps?

Commemorative stamps are released throughout the year to celebrate certain events or people.

Royal Mail release the collection and they are valid to use on postage.

Unlike the first and second class barcoded stamps which need to be swapped by January 2023, these will remain usable.

The stamps have images of the main cast of the comedy which ran for seven series between 1981 and 1991.

There were also occasional Christmas episodes and spin-off shows such as the popular Green Green Grass, which ran for four seasons in the early 00s.

How do I collect Only Fools and Horses stamps?

The stamps are available to buy from the Royal Mail’s online shop.

There is a variety of bundles you can buy as well as envelopes and a framed version of the collection.

How many Only Fools and Horses stamps are there?

There are 12 designs, featuring scenes from the show and quotes from the characters.

Fan favourite scene with the iconic line “play it nice and cool, son, nice and cool” is included in the designs.

You can also get a miniature set of four that features the Trotter men, including Uncle Albert and Grandad.

The miniature sheet has the bright yellow of the Trotter’s three-wheeled van.

How much do they cost?

The price for these ranges from 30p for the envelope to £102 for a full sheet of 60 stamps.

A 24-page stamp book with all 12 stamp designs can be purchased for £21.70.

The first class stamp set will set you back £7.10 while the miniatures run at around £5.
