It’s hard to find a variety of items right now, not just consoles. There are supply-chain issues, Covid-19 issues and people-stocking-up-before-you-do issues affecting graphics cards, Christmas trees, bikes, dolls and countless other products. Retailers are already warning holiday shoppers to start early—and many have. That Thing your kid has been asking for all year? It might not make it to the Christmas tree.
