A property on the same street was sold for over £78,000 – but due to the state inside this second-floor pad is up for auction with a guide price of £15,000.

It is a perfect for anyone who is looking to do up a property and make it their own.

And the property in the city’s Hawthorn Street, near Springburn, is set to be auctioned off by Future Property Auctions on Thursday, April 7.

The flat needs some TLC as the pictures show all the rooms have been stripped back to bare walls and floors.

There is a spacious living area which has space for a fire place.

And there is also a large kitchen but it doesn’t have a door and the worktops have been ripped apart.

The cupboards left standing are also missing doors.

However, a new heating system was installed with a gas boiler and radiators are all connected and working.

Previous owners of the flat have left some belongings behind which will need cleared out.

The property also has a garden to the rear – but is in need of some tidying up.

There are only photos from two rooms in the property.

Buying a run-down property at an auction can often allow you to buy a home for a much cheaper price.

It may be in need of gutting and renovating, allowing buyers to put their own stamp on and increase the value.

If you don’t want to live in the home yourself, it could make a great investment if you buy to let.

Any interested buyers can submit an enquiry for the timed online auction via the auctioneer’s website before 10am on April 7.
