NINTENDO has recently announced that a popular game will be leaving the eShop at the end of the month.

While the DLC will still be available for purchase after this date, you will need the base game in order to buy it.

It was announced that Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun would be removed from sale on the Nintendo eShop at the end of the month.

Drum ‘n’ Fun is a drumming rhythm game where you have to mix up where you land your beats on the drum.

The Switch is the optimal way to play this game, as you can use the motion controls on the Joy-Con to play.

This gives a more immersive drum-like experience, making it more similar to the popular arcade game.

More in Nintendo

Originally released in 2018, it is likely that the game will be removed due to the licensed music contained in the main game.

The game will be removed from sale on November 30, 2023, which will line up with five years since the game was released.

This would make sense if expiring licences are the cause of the game’s removal.

There are still a few weeks for people to purchase the game, and the game can be redownloaded even after it is removed from the store.

The DLC will also be available for purchase for the foreseeable future.

Luckily, a more recent release in the Taiko no Tatsujin series will remain on sale for the foreseeable future.

Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Festival was released in 2022 and offers a whole new selection of songs.
