The first part of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s DLC, The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero was released in September this year.

Called The Teal Mask, the first part is based around finding the Loyal Three and saving Ogerpon, and it launched on September 13, 2023.

The second part of the DLC, The Indigo Disk, will be based on battling as you do an exchange with a battling academy.

We now know that The Indigo Disk will launch on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

More in Pokémon

It will bring with it 81 new Pokémon that people will be able to use in battle against the other students in the academy.

You’ll also be able to bring your existing Pokémon to the DLC, so that you can keep your original team.

There are a number of starters making their first appearance in Scarlet and Violet, most notably Incineroar which has long dominated the competitive scenes.

Other competitive Pokémon that will be returning include Whimsicott, with the ability Prankster, and Smeargle, who can learn every move in the game.
