Next shoppers are scrambling to bag posh mugs scanning at the tills for £4 instead of £24

AS the colder months quickly approach, it’s time to switch the fancy iced-lattes for something a little more warming. 

Whether it’s a nice cup of tea, a steaming mug of coffee or a creamy hot chocolate that takes your fancy, a gorgeous hot drink is the perfect way to warm up through winter.

And to make the perfect warm beverage, everyone knows it’s essential that you have a gorgeous mug to sip from. 

That’s why shoppers have been so delighted to find a pretty pink set on sale in Next stores that are scanning for just a sixth of their original retail price. 

Savvy shopper Sydney shared the fab find in the 2.2 million-strong Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains. 

The canny customer posted a picture of four gorgeous mugs which she’d picked up from one of Next’s outlet stores, which despite saying £24 on the price tag, scanned through at just £4. 

The Geometric Stacking Mugs come in four slightly different pink-and-cream patterned designs, and the muted colourway means they’d look perfect however your home is decored. 

They also come in a handy metal holder, where you can stack them one upon another to save cupboard space. 

According to the Next website, the cups are crafted from durable stoneware and dishwasher safe as well as microwavable. 

There’s also matching plates and bowls available if you fancy a full dining set, however it’s not clear whether they’re currently on offer in the outlet stores. 

Sydney’s post publicising the whopping £20 saving she eyed quickly racked up dozens of likes, and fellow shoppers raced to nab the bargain buy. 

And it’s not the only incredible saving on offer in Next that’s had customers het up over the past few weeks.

One shopper picked up a stunning garden set – comprising a rattan effect corner sofa, table, and bench – for just £355, despite it originally selling for more than £1.4k. 

The fab piece was on offer because it was ex-display furniture, although the customer pointed out it was still in fantastic condition.

The clothing and homeware store is also well known for its huge seasonal sale, and there’s a fab clearance section on the website with thousands of items, always worth checking out if you’re looking to buy a bargain.
