HOLY perforations! Batman is swooping in on a set of 18 postage stamps.

The Caped Crusader, his allies and ­enemies feature in the DC Comics-themed Royal Mail collection out on September 17.

Sidekick Robin, butler Alfred, Batwoman, The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman and The Riddler will appear on the main set, while a separate miniature sheet will ­celebrate Justice League superheroes.

They were created by comic book artist Jim Cheung and colourist Laura Martin.

The full set of 18 stamps, available in a Presentation Pack, retails at £16.20.

They will be available for to pre-order from September 1 at www.royalmail.com/dccollection.
