COIN collectors can get their hands on a new Mr Men and a Little Miss coin from today.
Six different coins are up for grabs in the latest collection to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the popular children’s book series.

The collection will come with three designs featuring characters including Mr Happy, Little Miss Sunshine, Little Miss Giggles and Mr Strong.
The first coin featuring Mr Happy launched in mid-February, and today the Royal Mint has released two new ones depicting Mr Strong and Little Miss Giggles.
Similar to the first coin, the latest addition will be available in brilliant uncirculated versions with and without colour, as well as silver and gold.
Sadly, the coins won’t enter circulation so you won’t end up with the one of them in your spare change.

Which Mr Men and Little Miss are available from today?
THE Royal Mint has launched the below coins on its website today.
- Mr Strong and Little Miss £5 brilliant uncirculated coin – £13
- Mr Strong and Little Miss £5 brilliant uncirculated coloured coin – £22.50
- Mr Strong and Little Miss £1 half-ounce silver proof coin – £65
- Mr Strong and Little Miss £2 one ounce silver proof coin – £97.50
- Mr Strong and Little Miss £25 quarter-once gold proof coin – £605
- Mr Strong and Little Miss £100 one ounce gold proof coin – £2,370
The cheapest coin is a £5 coin, which will set you back £13.
While the most expensive coin on the list is the £100 coin made out of gold, which you’ll have to stump up £2,370 for.
Adam Hargreaves, who is the son of the original creator and illustrator of the Mr. Men Little Miss books, Roger Hargreaves, has designed the coins.
Mr Men first hit bookshelves in 1971 and has since sold more than 250million books in 28 countries, and have been translated into 17 different languages.

“Fifty years since the creation of the beloved Mr. Men characters we are delighted to capture such fun and joy on our latest coin.”
