Marks & Spencer has teamed up with Puma and Reebok to expand its offering of outside brands.
More than 140 products from the two firms will launch on M&S’s Sports Edit platform as it seeks to drive online growth by selling third-party brands to build on its successful turnaround. It now sells more than 90 outside brands.
It bought a stake in Sports Edit in March 2022 and has a section on its own website dedicated to it.
Nishi Mahajan, director of third-party brands, said: ‘We’re growing at pace, and there is more to come this year.
Sportswear is an integral part of our wider Brands at M&S strategy.’
Searches for fitness clothes on the M&S website have grown 110 per cent in a year, and the chain launched Brands at M&S in 2021 as it looked to shake off its reputation for ‘dowdy’ fashion, and entice younger shoppers
