M&S has slashed the price of their snow globe gins and customers are thrilled.

The supermarket has cut the price of both its snow globe gins to £10 a bottle – down from £16.

M&S posted on its Facebook page on Friday and said: “We promised you a Christmassy surprise.

“Our bestselling light-up snow globe gin liqueurs are now just £10! Yep, you read that right – merry Christmas from M&S!”

One customer thrilled by the news said on Facebook: “Delicious, I so need one of these.”

Another M&S fan said “£10! What a good price.”

But one disappointed shopper who purchased a bottle at full price before prices were slashed said: “That’s one hell of a price drop for those who have already purchased at the full price. Annoyed to say the least!”

The supermarket’s snow globe gins returned to the shelves on October 4.

The popular bottles of M&S gin liqueur feature flecks of gold glitter and they also light up.

In previous years the drinks have been a sell-out and M&S even slapped them with a buying limit because of the huge demand.

The popular gins set shoppers back £20 last Christmas but originally retailed for £4 less at £16 this year.

However, as part of the Black Friday cost-cutting frenzy the bottles can now be picked up for just £10.

There are two flavours this year: clementine and spiced sugar plum.

The sugar plum bottle lights up with a cool white glow, illuminating a festive figure skater on the design of the glass.

And clementine has a warm orange light that glows up behind the nutcracker design on the bottle.

You can buy the gins in-store at M&S where you’ll find them on the food hall shelves.

You can find your nearest M&S using the store finder tool on their website.

If you’re looking to get it delivered you can buy it online from Ocado, which stocks M&S food.

But don’t forget that you’ll have to pay for delivery on top and how much that is depends on how much you order.

If you are thinking of splashing out on the gin though, you should have a quick shop around first as you might be able to find a similar product cheaper elsewhere.

Aldi has previously sold a dupe of the M&S gin for just £6, but it does not have a similar version available right now.

We spotted that Jacamo is selling a 70cl clementine and gingerbread snowglobe gin for £20.

It also has a mince pie flavour but they are both £2 more than M&S.

Last year M&S was also selling a giant version of the snow globe gin.

The whopping 1.5 litre magnum bottle was priced at £40.

In recent weeks shoppers have been rushing to M&S to get their hands on a new gold leaf-infused bubbly.
