SUPERMARKET shoppers are going wild for a white chocolate tasting fruit that’s returned to Marks & Spencer.

The not-so-naughty treat – a white pearl strawberry – was released exclusively in M&S last year and shoppers are ecstatic after seeing that they’ve made a return.

Shoppers hope to be able to grab a box of them before they go missing again

The news was posted on the Facebook group ‘New Foods UK’, where foodie Brits often post newly released treats, sales and fan-favourite foods that have been re-released and are available to buy.

The post reads: “White Pearl Strawberries are back at M&S.”

Since it went live yesterday, over 1,000 people have commented on it, and double that amount has reacted to the post – with one person saying that they instantly thought “white chocolate“.

One user said: “They’re really good, my mum bought some the other day and they actually taste really nice.”

And a second user said: “They are so lovely they just taste like the red ones, nice and sweet.”

A third said: “This is a craving I did not know I had.”

And a fourth said: “These are amazing.”

While a fifth user said: ” I instantly thought white chocolate.”

However some were disappointed last year when unable to find any in their local Marks & Spencer, but hope to be able to grab a box of the £4 treat this year before they disappear again.

One woman, who struggled to find the fruit last year, said: “I really want try these and I did last time as well, but couldn’t find them at any stores in Nottingham anywhere.”

And a second user said: “Couldn’t find these in any store last time round, so will see this time.”

It’s not the only snack Brits are ecstatic to see back on the shelves this year.

Recently Cadbury ‘re-launched’ it’s fan-favourite ‘Caramilk’ treat – but punters may have to get used to its new shape.

Last month Quality Street fans were on high-alert as Iceland slashed the price of Quality Street Favourites from £1.25 to 75p.

Sweet-toothed Brits were also seen racing to Farmfoods to cop 500g bulk bags of Cadbury Wispa pieces for £2.50.
