M&S has added hundreds of items to Ocado including Christmas favourites

The retailers joined forces in 2019 in a £750million deal, giving M&S shoppers a home delivery option for the first time.

It ended Ocado’s long-running partnership with Waitrose.

The service has continued to expand, and since September this year, 580 more M&S products have been added to Ocado.

This is around 90% of M&S’ total range, up from 80% in November.

For example, shoppers can pick up a festive Colin the Caterpillar cake for £12 and M&S’ light up marmalade gin liqueur reduced from £15 to £13.

Below is a list of further examples of festive items shoppers can now get from M&S through Ocado:

  • M&S 12 Brie & Cranberry Tartlets – £3.50

Ocado charges between 99p and £6.99 for delivery depending on slot availability.

You can see individual prices and times once you get to the online checkout.

But beware, if your order is less than £75, a minimum spend charge of up to £6.99 will be added.

This will also be clear when you book your delivery slot.

Ocado also offers a Smart Pass service, which allows shoppers to pay a flat fee either monthly, or yearly, and then get deliveries for free.

If you’re a regular online shopper, this could be a way of reducing costs.

Price start £8.99 a month, or £89.99 annually, if you want the freedom to chose a delivery slot at any time of the week.

If you’re happy with midweek slots, you can pay £3.99 a month, or £39.99 annually.

Meanwhile, M&S has made more than 500 items available to buy online through it’s Food to Order service.

This is where you can book and pay for your Christmas dinner and other treats ahead of time with collection closer to the big day.

But the service closes today and slots may be limited. You can collect your order as late as Christmas Eve.
