MARKS and Spencer is selling a chicken dinner deal for £15 – and it could be perfect for family tea-time.

The posh supermarket is known for its dine-in deals, with previous offerings including a bargain Sunday roast with all the trimmings.

But it’s new deal gives shoppers the change to bag two chicken mains and four sides for £15.

The delicious deal for four is available can be bought in M&S foodhalls from now until April 4.

Customers can save up to £10.50 on the price of buying the most expensive combination worth £25.50.

Main choices include a piri piri half chicken, buttermilk chicken tenders and spicy chicken escalopes.

Plus, there are eight sides you can pair your main with, including halloumi fries, deli coleslaw and barbecue chicken wings.

If you don’t eat meat then don’t worry, you can tuck into some vegan southern fried tenders instead.

The posh supermarket has run similar deals in recent weeks, including a steak and chips meal deal for two for £10.

There are six mains to choose from, including:

  • Vegan southern fried tenders – £3
  • Piri Piri half chicken – £5
  • Two lemon and herb chicken breast escalopes – £4.75 
  • Spicy chicken escalopes – £4.75 
  • Southern fried chicken burgers – £4.50 
  • Buttermilk chicken tenders – £4.50 

Along with the main, shoppers have a choice of the following sides:

  • Piri Piri salted chips – £3
  • Spicy rice (vegan) – £3
  • Four stonebaked garlic breads – £2.75 
  • Halloumi fries – £4
  • Four sweetcorn cobs – £1.75 
  • Deli coleslaw – £2.50 
  • Barbecue chicken wings – £2.50
  • Mighty peas – £3

But M&S isn’t the only supermarket selling dine-in meal deals.

Tesco’s finest dinner for two offers shoppers one main, one side, one desert and one drink, including a bottle of wine.

The deal is available for Clubcard holders at £12 – slightly more expensive than M&S’ deal but you do get a drink included.

This could include a bottle of wine worth £7.50 or a six pack of coca-cola zero worth £4.20.

Outside of the deal, the most expensive deal combination at Tesco comes to £19.35.

This means the deal could save shoppers up to £7.35 and it is available until June 6.

Asda also offers a similar deal for £12, which includes one main, a side, a desert and a drink.

Asda’s most expensive meal combination comes to £16 – saving shoppers £4.
