IF you want to head to Marks and Spencer this weekend – then you may need to check the opening hours of your local store.

M&S has a huge range of Easter delights this year including a giant Percy Pig and a festive Collin the Caterpillar cake among many other themed items for the limited period.
So you’ll want to make a note of these opening hours if you wan’t to be sure of your Easter fix from the supermarket chain.
Is Marks and Spencer’s open over Easter?
M&S opening hours vary by store but all will be operating reduced hours over the Easter weekend.
Like many supermarkets, the store usually closes a little earlier on a regular Sunday anyway so don’t be surprised to find your local M&S closed on the bank holiday days.
Usually the stores open from 8am-8pm across the country but in a select few the shops might even be extending their opening times by an extra hour ahead of the bank holiday rush.
Make sure you check with your local store.
Any petrol station branches of the supermarket will be open throughout the weekend so you can always pick up your last minute goodies when you next top up your tank.
Is M&S doing home delivery?
M&S is currently offering free delivery if you spend over £50 online.
If you don’t want your food bill to rack up quite as high as that however, the store do also offer free collection too.
You can check out where you can make your nearest collection using their store locator tool.
Otherwise their standard delivery charges start from £3.50 and it depends on what you have delivered as to how much more the charges will cost.
Wine deliveries, for example, cost an extra £1.50.
The store mainly only provide delivery and collection for bigger ticket items like in the clothing section or their “Food to Go” range, so if you’re after a simple grocery delivery you might have to opt for Ocado instead.
You can find a whole range of products from this service just like you would in-store, and they even have some Percy themed easter goodies too, but the minimum order value is £40.
Ocado are currently offering plenty of delivery slots over the easter weekend including on Easter Sunday and Bank holiday Monday but you’ll have to be quick to snatch one up as they are first-come first serve.
When are the Easter holidays this year?
This year the spring bank holiday weekend falls earlier than it did in 2020, in the first week of April.
Good Friday is on April 2 making Holy Saturday – which isn’t a bank holiday – April 3.
Easter Sunday falls on April 4 and bank holiday Easter Monday is April 5.
For schools in England, the Easter break starts on Thursday, April 1 and ends on Friday, April 16 this year.
In Wales, schools will be shut for the Easter holidays from Monday, March 29 until Friday, April 9.
