SUPERMARKET chain Morrisons is making a major change in all stores – and it could save shoppers cash.
The retailer plans to roll out some of its budget Savers items across its Daily convenience stores.

Its chief executive officer David Potts announced the move in a cross-party committee chaired by MPs yesterday.
It came as supermarket bosses faced a grilling by ministers over rising food prices.
Grocery inflation slowed to 16.5% earlier this month, the lowest it has been since the start of 2023 but still one of the highest levels in 15 years.
During the committee, supermarket bosses were quizzed on what they were doing to cater for low income shoppers who rely on convenience stores more due to lack of transport.
In response, Mr Potts, said the chain, which plans to have 1,000 Daily convenience stores operating by the end of the year, will be rolling out some of its Savers range to the stores.
He said: “I was on a housing estate in Aberdeen a couple of weeks ago and I felt like the type of thing you are getting at.”
He added the retailer would be adding “a few” products out of its Savers range to Daily store shelves, although he did not specify when, or how many.
Morrisons currently has 240 products in its Savers range.

Mr Potts also said the budget products would be introduced “especially up until food inflation normalises” across the UK, “particularly in those areas where people are relying on that site”.
It comes after Morrisons agreed a buyout of rival McColl’s, including acquiring all of the retailer’s 1,160 stores.
At the time, in May 2022, David Potts said it would look to welcome new colleagues into the Morrisons business and build on the “proven strength of the Morrisons Daily format”.
In November the same year, it said it would close 132 of the loss-making stores it had bought.
How can I save money on my supermarket shop?
Beyond opting for budget products, you can save extra money at Morrisons in a number of ways.
First, if you’re someone who orders online a lot, it’s worth buying a delivery pass, which Morrison’s says could save you up to £176.
There are two options available – an anytime pass where you can get deliveries Monday through to Sunday.
Or, you can opt for a Tuesday to Thursday pass.
It’s £70 for an annual anytime pass (£5.83 a month) or £40 for a weekday one (£3.33 a month).
Second, it’s worth signing up to the Morrisons More loyalty card, where you can pick up points and get money off later purchases.
The scheme also offers you exclusive prices on a number of products, like Sainsbury’s Nectar Card and Tesco’s Clubcard.
Lastly, students can get extra discounts on products bought in-store and online.
They can even get extra loyalty card points when shopping and occasionally introductory offers too.
