All the more reason why shoppers need to hurry as stocks will not last for long it seems.

Meanwhile, One woman shared how she found discounted Puds in Asda that had been reduced to 50p, but received backlash when she piled her trolley high with them.

She showed her kitchen counter covered in 18 packs of Cadbury chocolate treats, which had five balls to a box.

Typically the milk chocolate Puds – which have a truffle centre filled with hazelnut pieces and rice crisps – cost £2, and people were snapping them up for stocking fillers.

While she was delighted with her super savings, not everyone was a fan.

Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she wrote: “Down to 50p a box dated until end of march 2024 from Asda.

Don’t know why so many angry faces, these will split between my kids and grandchildren.

“Yes I cleared the shelf as these are my favourite Christmas chocolate plus there was another 8 boxes but I gave them to my daughter.”
