NHS WORKERS can get 10% off at Morrisons until the end of the year – but only if they download the supermarket’s app.
The discount will be available from October 18 until the end of the year.
Morrisons said the discount was a thank you to NHS workers.
To claim the discount, shoppers will need to download the MyMorrisons app and sign up to the NHS Club.
After that, they will be eligible to redeem the 10% discount on their shopping as well as other treats and offers.
Shoppers were excited to hear about the discount, with many commenting on the announcement on social media.
One Facebook user said: “Thank you Morrisons. As one of the lower paid NHS workers I am grateful for everything you have done during the pandemic.”
To claim the rewards, shoppers will need to scan their NHS barcode in the app when they get to the checkout.
Scanning a MyMorrisons card as well can get you personalised offers.
For those who do not work for the NHS, there are still plenty of ways to get a discount on your supermarket shop.
Sainsbury’s has recently revamped its Nectar card and now has personalised offers, which it estimates could save shoppers £200 a year.
Iceland customers can also get discounts on their favourite foods through its Bonus Card.
The frozen food specialist is offering different deals each week until November 6.
Tesco’s revamped Clubcard has also proved popular with shoppers. The supermarket also recently launched a bank account which lets you earn Clubcard points even when you’re shopping elsewhere.
