Millions of TVs receive free upgrade this month with the arrival of nine channels – where to find them

TELLY lovers can access nine extra channels this month in the latest shake-up of a popular free streaming service.

And there’s something for music lovers, quiz buffs and true crime fans.

Pluto TV is available at no cost on a number of devices, including LG smart TVs, Virgin Media set top boxes and Amazon Fire Sticks.

The latest channels come as 2024 looks to be a big year for Pluto TV after plans to merge with Channel 5’s My5 platform were recently announced.

Pluto TV currently features more than a hundred channels, including shows from big names like Channel 5, MTV and UKTV.

Many are also themed channels around popular classics such as Most Haunted, CSI and Baywatch.

But this month the service gained nine additions, according to RXTVInfo.

NOW 80s

NOW 80s packs everything from the era that brought us Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and Kylie Minogue.

Tune in for a steady stream of 80s hits.

South Park

The long-running adult animation has its very own channel on Pluto TV with back-to-back episodes.

But the station doesn’t go on air until 9pm.

The Crystal Maze

Catch episodes of the Richard Ayoade-fronted series of The Crystal Maze.

Eggheads

Trivia lovers also receive access to one of the UK’s best-loved quiz shows.

A dedicated channel showing only Eggheads is now available on Pluto TV.

True Crime UK

You may recognise the True Crime name from the channel already available on Freeview, Freesat, Virgin Media and Sky.

Well, you can now tune into a different mix of their crime documentaries and series via Pluto TV.

Mob Wives

There’s something for reality TV fans too, with a channel devoted to Mob Wives.

Catch classic episodes of the series which ran from 2011 to 2016 for free.

Hot Ones
