TELLY fans will find three brand new channels on their sets next year – if they know where to look.
There are hundreds of free extra stations available thanks to Wi-Fi streaming.
And one company has just announced it’ll be adding a trio early 2024.
They’ll be coming to Freevee, Amazon‘s free ad-supported service available on most smart TVs these days.
Not only is Freevee home to TV shows and movies, there’s a growing list of streamed channels too.
They run like a traditional channel with a full schedule, except they’re only available with an internet connection.

Wedotv has just launched three channels on Freevee in Germany – and has revealed they’ll arrive in the UK next year too.
The channels include:
- Wedo Movies
- Wedo Big Stories
- Wedo Sports
The service already has a video on demand site available in the UK, which gives us an early indication of what we might see.

Among the big names to appear are The Professor starring Johnny Depp, as well as The Captor with Ethan Hawke and Noomi Rapace.
In the sport selection you’ll find more niche interests like sailing, crossfit competitions, Stunt Heroes and motoring.
Wedo Movies is apparently female-skewing movies, while Wedo Big Stories is for outdoor survival, nature and science documentaries, as well as lifestyle shows.
Wedo Sports will feature sport documentaries, series and news about athletes, teams and competitions, according to DigitalTVEurope.
Wedotv co-CEO Philipp Rotermund said it will land on Freevee in the UK in the first quarter of 2024 – so the end of March at the latest.
“This year we have expanded internationally, but adding Freevee in our home territories of Germany – and soon the UK — truly solidifies Wedotv as a dominant FAST channel provider in those markets,” he said.
What is Freevee?
Freevee is Amazon’s free alternative to Prime.
