LOADS of people are still using the same poor passwords despite repeated warnings from experts.
Hundreds of thousands are putting precious accounts for things like Facebook and Google at risk by being lazy with security.
Cybernews looked at 56million leaked passwords in 2022 and found many are still making the same mistake.
They reveal that more than 111,000 cases involved the most basic of them all, “123456”.
“password” and “qwerty” also continue to rank high.
But swear words remain popular as well, with “a**” used 292,869 times.
“F**k” was detected 79,564 times while “s**t” had 36,388.
Famous football player names made the list as well, with 4,137 using “messi” and 4,749 going for “ronaldo”.
Those working in IT were warned they too are using incredibly simple terms.
Default passwords used by workers with system access privileges included 16,981 instances of “admin”.

The strongest passwords include various letters, numbers and symbols but these can be tricky to remember.
Instead, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) recommends that you use three random words to create a password that is long enough and strong enough.
