GOOGLE is giving its Pixel Camera app a major revamp in a bid to make snapping photos of fly-by moments much easier.

Of course, the redesign will only be available to Pixel owners.

But their with devices must be running Android 14.

Switching from Photo to Video is set to be made easier with a more accessible toggle at the bottom of the screen.

Video controls are also more spread out.

Interestingly, the Photo and Video mode toggle remembers what mode you were last using each time you open the Pixel camera app.

Following the update, the settings panel will spring into view by swiping up – not by swiping down.

Alternatively, you can just click the cog icon in the bottom left.

Night Sight will also be just a swipe away.

Most of the changes further allow for one-handed access – which is ideal for capturing memories off the cuff.
