A Massachusetts woman named Mieke Oort was stabbed to death in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.

Per the reports, she was gravely attacked inside her apartment in Leeuwarden, a city about an hour-and-a-half north of the Dutch capital of Amsterdam.

According to local police, they were called to a house fire in Tweebaksmart in Leeuwarden. Upon their arrival, she was found sprawled dead. They also discovered a disparagingly injured guy inside the residence.

Reportedly, Stalker Thomas Reinder has been arrested for alleged murder.

According to the source, he was her old Tinder date. In addition to that, he had been stalking the Massachusetts woman for a while, installing trackers on her bicycle.

It is speculated that the woman was trying to reconcile with her former boyfriend which might have fumed the suspect. However, the investigation is currently ongoing and further details are yet to be revealed.
