Meta Platforms will stop showing adverts to European teens as part of a plan announced Monday to launch new subscription-based versions of its social-media products to comply with the continent’s regulations. 

The plan would temporarily suspend showing ads to all users under the age of 18 in the European Union and parts of Europe that follow EU rules.
