MCDONALD’s Monopoly is back, giving fast food fans the chance to win prizes including £100,000 cash and an Ibiza holiday.

The popular game returned to the burger chain for the first time in two years last week – these are the menu items that come with the most stickers.

McDonald’s customers can win prizes by collecting stickers which come with certain menu items.

There are three ways to bag a prize – instant win, collect to win and online.

With an instant win you just need one sticker that allows you to claim your prize straight away in store.

Online win stickers come with a code that you can redeem on the McDonald’s website.

Collect to win is the most like traditional Monopoly – you have to find the street stickers with matching colours.

For example, you could collect Piccadilly, Leicester Square and Coventry Street to win £1,000 to spend on home entertainment gadgets.

To win the top prize of £100,000 cash you’ll have to collect both blue stickers: Park Lane and Mayfair.

McDonald’s has warned restaurant managers can limit the number of stickers per order if they suspect you’re buying food you won’t eat just to collect more Monopoly pieces.

You can find your nearest McDonald’s restaurant using the chain’s store locator.

McDonald’s Monopoly was cancelled last year because of Covid – but this year’s game pieces have old expiry dates.

We’ve rounded up the top tips and tricks to boost your chances of winning.

Has anyone actually won the big prizes? We explain how it all works.

Three stickers

  • Big Tasty – £4.79/£6.29 meal
  • Big Tasty with bacon – £5.19/£6.69 meal
  • Chicken selects (three or five) – £3.89 for three/£5.49 meal, £4.69 for five/£6.29 meal
  • Chicken BBQ Smokehouse – £4.99/£6.39 meal
  • Chicken Legend – £4.29/£5.69 meal
  • Big Flavour wrap -£2.99/£4.59 meal
  • Soft drink – 99p medium
  • Caramel iced frappe- £2.29
  • Frozen strawberry lemonade – £2.09
  • Chicken and bacon salad- £3.39/£3.89 meal
  • Chicken salad – £2.99/ £3.49 meal

Two stickers

  • Fries – medium or large – £1.19/£1.49
  • Mozzarella dippers- £1.79
  • Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate McFlurry -£1.49
  • Cadbury Caramel McFlurry – £1.49

How many stickers will you get with a meal?

If you decide to get a meal, which adds a drink and a side to your burger or wrap, you will collect more pieces.

Customers who select fries as their side will get an extra two stickers.

If you choose a side salad, vegetable bag or fruit bag instead, you’ll get yourself three more stickers.

A drink will get you a further three stickers.

For example, if you order a Big Mac meal with fries and a drink, you would collect five stickers in total.

That’s because a Big Mac doesn’t come with any Monopoly stickers, but the fries and drink do.

And if you opted for a Big Tasty with Bacon, a side salad and a drink, you would bag nine game pieces.
